Deux volumes reliés (16,5 x 25 cm) de un frontispice gravé, 28 pages (préface, notice biographique et testament de Beethoven) et 183 pages pour le premier volume et de un frontispice gravé, 215 pages et une planche dépliante pour le second volume. Reliure demi-chagrin vert à coins, dos à nerfs, titrages dorés. Reliure usagée, nombreuses épidermures, coins émoussés, nombreuses rousseurs, une des planches dépliantes avec les noms et signatures des souscripteurs est déchirée en deux endroits mais sans manque;État très moyen de cette première traduction française. Sur les pages de garde des 2 volumes importantes notes manuscrites et nom de l'ancien propriétaire Jules de Glimes, ses initiales sont gravées en bas des dos des deux volumes. ‎

‎Jules De Glimes est un compositeur, chanteur et professeur de chant belge né à Bruxelles le 24 janvier 1814, où il est décédé le 4 octobre 1881. ‎

(44 x 33 cm), sous chemise à rabats, dos en percaline chagrinée grise, titre doré sur le 1er plat, 8 pp, suite de 7 reproductions de dessins en plusieurs couleurs de Bernard Naudin h.-t., sous passe-partout, le premier est un portrait en pied de Beethoven . La suite des autres dessins ont été inspirés par cette oeuvre de ce grand musicien. Tirage limité à 147 ex. Un des 120 exemplaires sur papier de Hollande numérotés. ‎
