À noter, que lors des futurs rééditions de ce texte, dans le recueil des "Nouvelles genevoises", le chapitre III en entier disparaîtra, et non pas quelques pages comme le mentionne Mirabaud p. 349.Mirabaud p.7; Lonchamp 2939; Suzannet, 18 à 20.
