— “A Brief Inquiry” follows one explorer's journey to find the sublime. Nearly impossible to pin down, directed by an actively subjective experience, the explorer's obsession with the notion of the sublime necessarily prevents him from finding it, though his surroundings would most certainly fit the bill. This book corresponds to a 4 channel super 8 film installation project at Albright Knox Art Gallery and includes an essay by the gallery's Associate Curator, Holly Hughes.
