Siamo in possesso solo del tomo sesto contenente la storia del Madagascar dal XVI secolo al 1811 (Henri Froidevaux), dal 1815 al 1906 (Marius e Ary Leblond), Dal 1906 ad oggi (Delelee Desloges). Segue descrizione delle Isole Comore, Isole di Francia e Bourbon, Pacifico francese, i francesi nell'Africa del Sud ecc... All'interno numerose illustrazioni a colori di Albert Besnard e illustrazioni in bianco e nero di A. Reiss e Hanotaux. Testo francese. In ottime condizioni. Copertina in piena pelle editoriale con titolo e decorazioni in oro al dorso in ottime condizioni generali con lievi usure ai margini e dorso. Legatura in buone condizioni. ‎Edizione senza data ma del 1780 circa di questo atlante del cartografo Rigobert Bonne (1727-1794) considerato uno dei migliori della fine del XVIII secolo. Nel 1773 Bonne succedette a Nicolas Bellin nella guida della cartografia Reale di Francia. Le sue mappe sono molto dettagliate e il suo stile snello e semplice molto si discosta dalle elaborate decorazioni e cartigli tipici del XVIII secolo. L'atlante, originariamente allegato all'opera in 10 volumi "Histoire philosohpique et politique des Etablissements et du commerce des Europeens dans les Deux Indes"di Guillaume Thomas Raynal contiene 49 tavole ed è completo. Variante B, alcune incisioni riportano come nome dell'incisore Claude Marie Francois Dien (gravèe par Dien). Edition not dated but of 1780 circa of this atlas by the cartograopher Rigobert Bonne (1727-1794) considered as one of the best of late 18th century. In 1773 Bonne succeeded Jacques Nicolas Bellin as Royal Cartographer to France in the office of the Hydrographer at the Depôt de la Marine. Working in his official capacity, Bonne compiled some of the most detailed and accurate maps of the period. Bonne's work represents an important step in the evolution of the cartographic ideology away from the decorative work of the 17th and early 18th century towards a more detail oriented and practical aesthetic. With regard to the rendering of terrain Bonne maps bear many stylistic similarities to those of his predecessor, Bellin. ‎In 16. Dim. 15x9 cm. Pp. 46+(2)+272. Rara edizione del 1712 di questa opera anonima ma scritta da Francois Nicolas Dubois (m. 1750 ca). Si tratta del rimaneggiamento di un testo apparso nel 1676 sotto il titolo "Histoire des amours d'Abailard et d'Heloise" spesso attribuito a Jacques Alluis che narra la storia d'amore tra Pierre Abeilard e la giovane Heloise della quale era protettore. L'opera è in un volume ed è completa di tutte le pagine. Ex libris al contropiatto anteriore. Legatura in piena pelle coeva. Copertina in piena pelle coeva a cinque nervi con titolo su tassello al dorso in mediocri condizioni generali con usure e parti mancanti ai margini e dorso. Rotture alle cerniere. Legatura in buone condizioni. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con fioriture e bruniture. Scarce edition of 1712 of this anonymous work but written by Francois Nicolas Dubois (m. 1750 ca). It is the formation of a text appeared in 1676 under the title "Histoire des amours d'Abailard et d'Heloise" often attributed to Jacques Alluis talking about the love story between Pierre Abeilard and the young Heloise of which he was protector. The work is in one volume and it is complete of all pages. Ex libris in the internal part of front plate. Full leather coeval cover. Full leather coeval cover with five nerfs and spine title leather label in the spine in poor general conditions with wearings and missing parts in the edges and spine. Cracks in the hidges. Binding in good conditions. Inside pages are in good conditions with foxings and yellowings.‎

‎Histoire de la Ville de Lyon, ancienne et moderne; avec les figures de toutes ses veües par le R. P. Jean de Saint-Aubin de la Compagnie de Jésus. Relié à la suite : Histoire ecclésiastique de la ville de Lyon, ancienne et moderne., par le même auteur.‎

‎A Lyon, chez Benoist Coral, en ruë Mercière; à l'enseigne de la Victoire. 1666. Deux ouvrages en un volume in-folio. 364 pages + table & 367 pages + table. Un volume in-folio, reliure plein veau marbré, roulette sur les plats, dos orné, pièce de titre. "Histoire de la Ville de Lyon" est bien complète de sa page de titre, du frontispice et des 7 gravures d'Israel Silvestre sur planches dépliantes. Le second ouvrage est, lui aussi, complet de toutes les illustrations attendues : grande vignette sur la page de titre, frontispice (gravé par F. Greuter d'après J. Stella) et bandeaux gravés.‎

‎Rare réunion de ces deux ouvrages. Bon état.‎
