Un texte qui subit contre toute attente la censure du Vatican et ne fut publié qu'à titre posthume. Après une thèse sur Charles Péguy, il a beaucoup écrit, sur la littérature, l'art, l'éducation, les valeurs familiales. Sa découverte de Teilhard de Chardin a amorcé une profonde réflexion sur les fondements de l'univers. Il découvre Teilhard de Chardin dans les années 60, Teilhard de Chardin ou la foi au monde en 1963 et ne cesse plus de réfléchir sur son oeuvre, se lance dans des lectures scientifiques ardues pour comprendre en profondeur l'oeuvre du Teilhard dont il écrit : "Le teilhardisme a secoué l'orthodoxie".
