UNE FIGURE DU RENOUVEAU SPIRITUEL DU XVIIe SIÈCLE. Édition originale, un des 17 exemplaires de tête sur Chine (tirage total de 794 exemplaires) de cet essai historique consacré à Saint Vincent de Paul. Célèbre pour ses comédies, Henri Lavedan (1859-1940) décida, au lendemain de la première Guerre mondiale, d'abandonner l'écriture théâtrale : la société qu'il dépeignait dans ses pièces avait en effet été trop profondément bouleversée. Reliure amateur.
