Relié in-8, cartonnage ivoire, plat supérieur de la couverture conservé, XVI + 176 pp. Edition originale de ce recueil de 25 contes campagnards pour enfants qui sont autant de poèmes en prose. Ce délicieux album, illustré de nombreux dessins de Jeanne de Lanux, constitue le premier livre de Mireille Havet (1898-1932), amie d'Apollinaire, de Natalie Clifford Barney et Colette. Elle joue le rôle de la Mort dans la pièce de Jean Cocteau "Orphée" en 1926, avant d'être emportée à 33 ans par la toxicomanie et la tuberculose. Rare.

Liège, Éditions de la vie wallonne, 1931. 28,5 x 23 cm, 126-[6-4 bl.] pp. : 9 illustrations. Broché. Édition originale avec de très belles illustrations hors-texte d'après des bois de Delia. Cet exemplaire est l'un de ceux non dénombrés sur papier Art Creamy destinés à la presse, justifiés "Presse". Il est enrichi d'un envoi autographe signé de l'auteur et de l'illustrateur à "Monsieur le député Louis Piérard", aussi connu comme journaliste et écrivain belge, père de l'autrice Marianne Pierson-Piérard.On joint le bulletin de souscription illustré. La couverture est défraîchie et piquée, sinon très bon état. Beau et rare.
