S.l. [Bologne], 1652, in-4, [4] ff. n. ch., écriture fine et serrée, néanmoins lisible, avec cinq figures de plantes dessinées à l'encre, broché sous couverture de papier crème. Couvertures salies, mouillures angulaires en bas des ff.
Seul le titre porté sur la couverture est en français ; l'ensemble du texte est rédigé en italien.Giacomo Zanoni (1615-1682) exerça à partir de 1642 avec diligence les fonctions de surintendant du Jardin botanique de l'Université de Bologne. Lui sont attribués deux herbiers et une Istoria botanica, donnée en 1675 à l'adresse de Bologne. Au début du f. 2, on trouve un Indice delle piante portate quest'anno 1652 nel viaggio di Castiglione ed altri monti di Bologna, qui semble bien la matrice manuscrite du titre d'un autre opuscule du même auteur publié cette même année 1652, toujours à Bologne, et formant un seul placard in-folio, énumérant simplement le nom des espèces végétales récoltées pendant l'ascension du Mont Castiglione.Les cinq plantes représentées par des dessins sont (nomenclature ancienne) : 1. Rubia quadrifolia (appellation pré-linéenne de Rubia peregrina ou garance voyageuse). - 2. Nasturtium Alpinum (mal orthographié), désignant autrefois ce que la nomenclature actuelle désigne comme Hornungia alpina (Hutchinsie des Alpes ou cresson de chamois). - 3. Cardamina secunda sive minor (probablement la cardamine hérissée). - 4. Elleborina montana minima (une orchidée sauvage). - 5.
