Élisée Reclus, de son nom complet Jean Jacques Élisée Reclus, né à Sainte-Foy-la-Grande (Gironde) le 15 mars 1830 et mort à Torhout en Belgique le 4 juillet 1905, est un géographe libertaire.Communard, militant et théoricien anarchiste, il fut un pédagogue et un écrivain prolifique. Membre de la Première Internationale, il rejoint la Fédération jurassienne après l'exclusion de Michel Bakounine. Avec Pierre Kropotkine et Jean Grave, il participe au journal Le Révolté.
