Non datées (très certainement fin XIXe s. ou début XXe s.), 2 pièces, environ 100 x 65 chacune, encadrées ensemble dans un cadre-coffret moderne (260 x 210), fond de tissu vert.Parfait état.
Peintures miniatures originales à lencre et gouache sur support rigide blanc (ivoire ? Ces pièces ont été acquises encadrées et nont pas été démontées), scènes érotiques représentant un couple pratiquant le Kâma-Sûtra dans un intérieur persan, une fenêtre laissant entrevoir une forêt.Originaire de Perse, ce type de peinture s'est répandu en Inde à l'époque des grands Moghols à partir du XVIIe siècle.Très fine exécution, dune très belle polychromie, de toute beauté.
