‎ 3 pages in-8.Le 30 mars 1958 : Montherlant flicite Erlanger pour son Henri IV, dont il apprcie l'excellente prsentation : "Quand donc tous les livres franais seront-ils prsents cartonns de la sorte, et avec cette lgance ?". Puis il annonce la parution de ses "Carnets" chez Gallimard. Le 26 janvier 1959 : "Aujourd'hui, les grands fauves s'entre-dvorent comme toujours, la pitaille me semble inhibe par un conformisme auquel elle croit, et une religion laquelle elle ne croit pas."‎
