Unique édition. Très séduisante illustration. Travail sur la double page, dessins à la plume illuminés par l’arrivée de l’arc-en-ciel. Les couleurs vont se mêler et colorer la terre. Donald Leake est peintre et illustrateur de livres pour les enfants. Texte par l’un des plus grands auteurs pour les enfants aux Etats-Unis Mike Thaler (1936-2024). Titre ancien recherché de Quist, pour lequel il n’y a pas eu d’édition française, bien complet de sa jaquette au fond noir fragile. Une petite trace de mouillure à l’intérieur de la jaquette supérieure a généré quelques minimes ondulations sur cette dernière. Les Livres d’Harlin Quist et François Ruy-Vidal.
