‎Créée par l’éditeur Georges Fall, la collection Le Musée de poche publia 52 monographies d’artistes entre 1955 et 1965, chacune rédigée par des écrivains et critiques de renom. Excellente collection dédiée au nouveau courant d’art abstrait, notamment de la nouvelle Ecole de Paris, qui permis de faire découvrir des artistes alors inconnus du grand public. ‎

‎Bella raccolta di quattro spariti del compositore austriaco insegnante e pianista Carl Czerny (1791-1857) e di Enrico Bertini (1798-1876).<BR><BR>Czerny è noto per le opere di insegnamento di pianoforte, tuttora utilizzate.<BR>La prima opera sono 24 studi della piccola velocita dall'opera 636. Frontespizio mancante ma della fine del XIX secolo.<BR>Le ultime tre del 1890 circa (timbro a secco illeggibile) sono 25 studi diteggiati per pianoforte di Enrico Bertini (secondo e terzo grado).<BR>Ritratto di Bertini.<BR>In buone condizioni e completo.<BR>Copertina in mezza pelle in buone condizioni con lievi usure ai margini e dorso. Etichetta al piatto anteriore. Legatura in buone condizioni con qualche pagina staccata. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con fioriture. In 4. Dim. 30,5x23 cm. Pp. 43+35+41+49. She was the wife of Nobel Prize physicist Enrico Fermi. - Laura Capon was born in Rome in 1907. Capon met Enrico Fermi while she was a student in general science at the University of Rome. The couple married in 1928. They had two children: a daughter, Nella (19311995), and a son, Giulio (19361997), named after Enrico's older brother, who had died in 1915. In 1936 Laura joined Ginestra Amaldi, wife of Edoardo Amaldi, to write a book relating alchemy and the nuclear transmutation performed by their mates. In 1938, the Fermis emigrated to the United States to escape the anti-Jewish laws of the Fascist government of Benito Mussolini; Laura was Jewish. Though Fermi's prestige and membership in the Royal Academy of Italy could have mitigated the impact of the laws, they chose to leave instead.
