Ne figure pas à Gumuchian qui cite plusieurs ouvrages de l'auteur.

Les 8 planches gravées présentent 50 sujets que le titre annonce coloriées. Les hydres ; actinies ; éphémères ; demoiselles ; papillons... avec des instructions pour la préparation de ces derniers, leur chasse... Sophie Ulliac-Trémadeur (née à Lorient en 1794 - morte en 1862) publia de nombreux ouvrages instructifs qui eurent tous beaucoup de succès. Pas dans Gumuchian. - Reliure en bon état, rousseurs tout au long du volume, les planches n'ont pas été coloriées.
