Maurice Maeterlinck est un dramaturge, essayiste et poète belge, né à Gand, Prix Nobel en 1911. En tant que poète, il est très influencé par Mallarmé et le Symbolisme. Pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale, il s'installe aux États-Unis, puis ensuite à Nice, où il meurt en 1949; très connu pour ses essais sur la vie des fourmis et des termites. Très bon état.
