Very good copy of this scarce book, which is now out of print (as is the 2nd supplement).This is quite a unique book as it was printed showing 2500 illustrations of Carabus species, but leaving empty spaces for those species that were not as yet photographed. These could be added by buying the supplements and adding the photographs of the supplements to the empty spaces in the book. In all three supplements were issued and these species are added in this copy of the book. We include a supplement 3 (now empty).
