Original printed wrappers.Although not apparent from the title, this book deals with the Cyclophoridae of Cuba (by De La Torre and Bartsch), the other West Indian islands (by Paul Bartsch alone), and the American mainland (by Bartsch and Morrison). It deals with the higher systematics within the group (e.g. introducing a new subfamily) and the species, of which many are new, or little known and illustrated for the first time. This is the institute's Bulletin 181. Small stamp of the malacologist Herbert Ant on the title page and contents page margin, otherwise a good clean copy.

The second edition has twice as much pages and two coloured plates more than the first edition.
