Description des animaux fossiles qui se trouvent dans le terrain carbonifère de Belgique.
Liège / Paris / Bonn, Imprimerie et Typographie de H. Dessain / P. Bertrand / A. Marcus, 1842 - 1844. Un vol. au format in-4 (318 x 242 mm) non paginé. Reliure d'édition de demi-percaline émeraude, titre imprimé au premier plat, dos lisse orné de fleurons romantiques dorés, titre doré.
Atlas seul. Il comporte 69 fines planches lithographiées avec feuillets de texte explicatifs en regard. Angles élimés. Abrasions affectant les plats. Claires rousseurs affectant deux planches. Petite déchirure en marge d'un feuillet. Du reste, belle condition. Peu courant.
