Er veröffentlichte mehrere wissenschaftliche Arbeiten und wurde vom Landgrafen von Hessen-Kassel zum Brunnenarzt bestellt. - Einband fleckig und berieben. Titelblatt alt gestempelt und mit kleinem Eckausriss, ohne Textverlust. Durchgehend leicht gebräun und stellenweise etwas fleckig. - Selten.‎

Une estampe japonaise au format diptyque ban horizontal (25,7 x 38,3 cm), montée sur un papier orangé, quelques petites pliures aux coins. Gravure sur bois en couleurs (mokuhanga) extraite d'un des recueils de l'artiste, encres noire, grise, et délicates nuances de vert-gris pour le feuillage, laissant apparaître une fleur ébauchée dans l'angle supérieur gauche. Impression d'époque Meiji sur papier japonais (washi). Bon exemplaire.‎
