‎Young Belgian architects are showing a renewed approach to architecture. While the older generation grew up in a booming economy in which there was time and money to endlessly study details, proportions and create minimalist designs, the younger generation are increasingly aware of functionality. Lower budgets have forced them to approach projects from a fresh perspective. Among this new wave of young architects are Tom Verschueren and David Driesen, whose office dmvA is situated in Mechelen, Belium. Focusing on achieving durability, they use materials creatively and in context to allow for minimising on financial budgets while maximising content. dmvA is not focused on one particular style. As with any creative process they allow the constructions to communicate the story, by considering a range of elements both naturally and artificially fabricated. They are motivated to move beyond the confines of design theory to become more intuitive; they focus on the internal, on emotional involvement, the link between art and sex in order to achieve complex, meaningful work. ‎

‎Summary The Medieval French text (9400 lines) known as Tiaudelet is here edited for the first time. It is a lively debate poem which translates Theodulus's Ecloga and adds a lengthy commentary to each stanza. It was last investigated in 1915 when A. Parducci published five modest extracts. It is found in a manuscript which represents a sort of vernacular 'Liber Catonianus', offering classical texts which formed the basis of the educational curriculum in the arts in French translation. It debates the value of two traditions: the classical and biblical, with the educational aim of increasing knowledge of classical and Scriptural narratives. As an appendix to the edition is provided the text of the only other French translation of Theodulus, by Jean Le F vre, as represented by the unique copy in the National Library of Scotland, of the early print by Jan Brulelou of Bruges.‎

Esprit libre, il se méfie du savoir livresque et n'accorde pleinement sa confiance qu'à ce qu'il a observé lui-même. Comme le note P. -P. Grassé : « Le caractère le plus marquant de l'œuvre de Réaumur est sa totale objectivité.
