‎Rara raccolta di tre opere del 1617 scritte dal medico veronese Zefiriele Tommaso Bovio (1521-1609) celebre per i suoi interessi e studi sull'alchimia e cabala. Egli stesso si definiva medico "de' disperati e abbandonati" Assunse il nome di "Zefiriele", lo stesso dell'angelo che egli asseriva fosse il suo protettore. Lanciò accuse contro la medicina galenica, che giudicava falsa e dannosa. (CFR. KOS, liber amicorum. Milano, FMR, n°6 , pag.130 - Autori Italiani del '600, N° 1846 e n° 1847).<BR><BR>Nella prima opera "Flagello de medici rationali"egli condanna i metodi di medicina tradizionale e propone rimedi di ispirazione paracelsiana. La seconda opera "Risposta di Claudio Gelli" in riferimento alla precedente è un' "interessante e curiosa polemica in favore e contro il razionalismo medico. L'Autore si vanta di dedurre tutta la medicina come la scienza capace di estrarre le sostanze vegetali, e spiega il suo metodo di cura per il mal francese e la gotta..." (Cfr. Piantanida (1846)).<BR><BR>Segue "Fulmine contro de medici putatitii rationali" e per finire "Melampigo overo confusione de medici sofisti". Scarce colelction of three works of 1617 written byt he phyisician from Verona Zefiriele Tommaso Bovio (1521-1609) famous for his interests and study about alchemy and cabala. He defined himself as "de' disperati e abbandonati". He took the name of "Zefiriele", as the angel that he defined as his protector and launched accusations against galenic medicine, judges false.
