‎Superbe album réalisé par les Fourrures Jungmann & Cie pour la collection 1931-1932, réunissant une double-planche de présentation des manteaux de la collection et 24 très belles planches en noir et blanc des différents animaux à fourrure. Ray Bret Koch (1902-1996) crée un jeu très graphique sur les noirs et les blancs. De légères usures à la couverture, trace de colle sur la deuxième de couverture et la couverture dorée, rare et bel exemplaire complet. ‎

Collaborateur estimé et recherché par les grands magasins et les maisons de couture, il occupe vers 1937 les fonctions de président du Groupement syndical des dessinateurs de mode et de vice-président de l'Union des artistes dessinateurs français. Il est également l'illustrateur de la Commission des modes des maîtres tailleurs de Paris. Il a travaillé pour plusieurs maisons anglaises et françaises et fut un collaborateur actif de la revue "Monsieur" in lesartsdecoratifs/reclame_publicite/portraits/marc). ‎Pavilions reveal something of the changing position of architecture in culture and its relationship with visual arts, as well as the various 20th century cultural policies throughout the world. This book presents a reflection on the work of Croatian architect Vjenceslav Richter , the idea of the pavilion as a metaphor and a spatial concept where architecture and visual arts meet. As a matter of fact the whole production of Richter - whether his artistic production, his architectural projects or his town planning models - is based on a systematic repetition of small units. The publication provides an overview of Richter's experimental work and research between the late 1940s and the late 1990s, alongside other significant examples of pavilions, in order to nourish a more global reflection on historical and contemporary cultural models. Richter was one of the founders of EXAT 51 group (Experimental Atelier) and an active participant of the international New Tendencies movement; he authored national pavilions for international fairs, architectural projects for public and residential buildings, and designs in the area of urbanism. Vjenceslav Richter (Omilje, 1917 - Zagreb, 2002), architect and artist, was one of the key figures in Croatian art history who played a significant role within the context of European modernism.‎

‎Marcel Duchamp is considered the most influential artist of the 20th century. This reputation is due primarily to his introduction of the readymade, an alternative to the traditional art-making process wherein anything designated by an artist as a work of art?from a bicycle wheel mounted on a stool to a bottle rack purchased from a department store?automatically becomes art and should be treated as such. Whereas this radical notion has done much to alter the course of contemporary art, few realize that it can be traced to Duchamp?s involvement with his family, specifically, to objections expressed by his brothers to his Nude Descending a Staircase, a painting he submitted for display to the Salon des Ind pendants in 1912. Rather than accept the reservations voiced by his brothers and substitute this painting for another, Duchamp chose instead to withdraw it, whereupon he made the momentous decision that he would no longer conform to accepted conventions of taste. At the time, Duchamp?s eldest brother Jacques Villon was a cubist painter and printmaker, and his older brother Raymond Duchamp-Villon was a modernist sculptor. In this context, a readymade can be understood as an open challenge to the art his family practiced and represented, namely, the traditional genres of painting and sculpture.
