‎Heruitgave van het boekje van Renaat Braem naar aanleiding van de 50-jarige verjaardag van de uitgave, die ook aanleiding is voor een theatervoorstelling van Dimitri Leue dit najaar. De oorspronkelijke publicatie wordt aangevuld met een actuele inleiding, een tekst van Leo Van Broeck (Vlaams Bouwmeester) en fotografie van Filip Dujardin. De architect Renaat Braem schreef in 1968 'Het lelijkste land ter wereld', een aanklacht tegen de manier waarop we in Belgi bouwen. Hij gebruikt urbanisatie en architectuur als speerpunt om te fulmineren tegen de maatschappij, politiek en de mens. Braem was een bouwheer van idee n. Met humor als cement construeerde hij een tekst die staat als een huis. De foto's van Filip Dujardin tonen hoe Belgi 'schoon is in lelijk zijn' maar ook 'lelijk is in schoon zijn'.‎
