Tientallen stammen, honderden takjes en duizenden blaadjes zijn bewegingloos geschilderd in een sereen blauwe kleur. Het licht van de maan en de sterren geven witte accenten aan het mythische bos waar ik tot ben toegetreden. Het schilderij omringt mij steeds meer wanneer ik dichter bij stap. Maar hoewel er geen zuchtje wind in het bos lijkt te bespeuren, verandert de kleur van de lucht boven de takken voortdurend. Soms lijkt het wat geler en groener te worden.
