Der ebenfalls ursprünglich aus Bern stammende Verfasser (1788 - 1862) war als Besitzer des Schlosses Steinegg im Thurgau, österreichischer Offizier und konvertierte zum Katholizismus. - Das Porträt leicht stockfleckig. Einbandrücken leicht beschabt. - Vollständig unbeschnittenes, breirandiges Exemplar. - Selten.‎
