Les 2 gravures classiques du ‘Kleinmeister’ Freudenberger se font pendant, elles se trouvent dans des jolis cadres ‘dorure sur bois faits à Paris’. Untere Marge mit "S. Freudenberger fecit" und "à Berne chez l'auteur avec privilège" weggeschnitten. Die Blätter besitzen ein schönes Kolorit, wurden jedoch oft bis an den Bildrand beschnitten, so auch hier der Fall. Sigmund Freudenberger (* 16. Juni 1745 in Bern; † 15. November 1801 ebenda) war ein Schweizer Maler.Er war Sohn eines Advokaten, liess sich zum Porträtisten ausbilden und lebte von 1765 bis 1773 in Paris, wo er u.a. mit François Boucher verkehrte.
