‎Vgl. Thieme/Becker 29/30, 233. Fritz Schönpflug (1873-1951) war Autodidakt und gilt als der bekannteste Karikaturist u. Zeichner von Wiener Volkstypen der k.u.k. Monarchie. Er war Mitbegründer der Zeitschrift "Die Muskete" und arbeitete für die "Wiener fliegenden Blätter", die "Bombe", den "Wiener Figaro". Für den Wiener Postkartenverlag Gebrüder Kohn, fertigte er eine ganze Anzahl von Postkartenserien, die sich mit dem Militär, dem gesellschaftlichen Leben, der modernen Technik u.a. befassen. Das Historische Museum Wien zeigte 1996/97 eine Ausstellungen über seine Postkartenmalerei. Vorliegendes Konvolut zeigt Bobfahrer, Skifahrer u. Schlittler.‎
