‎Peter Lindbergh (born Peter Brodbeck; 23 November 1944 -3 September 2019) was a German fashion photographer and film director. He had studied arts in Berlin and Krefeld, and exhibited his works before graduation. In 1971, he turned to photography and worked for the Stern magazine. In fashion photography, he portrayed models Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Tatjana Patitz, Cindy Crawford and Christy Turlington together for the January 1990 British Vogue cover, beginning an era of supermodels. He photographed the Pirelli Calendar three times (1996, 2002, 2017), made several films, and created covers for music including Tina Turner's Foreign Affair, Sheryl Crow's The Globe Sessions and Beyonc 's I Am... Sasha Fierce. His work has been presented at international exhibitions. Lindbergh preferred black & white photography, and noted in 2014: "This should be the responsibility of photographers today to free women, and finally everyone, from the terror of youth and perfection."‎

‎Piet Mondrian behind his easel, Igor Stravinsky at his piano, Max Ernst sitting smoking on his throne-like chair: Arnold Newman's photographs are classics of portraiture. His subtle arrangements constituted the foundations of "environmental portraiture." His photographs integrate the respective artist's characteristic equipment and surroundings, thus indicating his or her field of activity. The enormous fame of Newman's portraits can be ascribed to their daring compositions and sometimes astounding spatial structures. The photographer's beginnings, on the other hand, were none too promising. During the Great Depression Newman had to abandon his art studies for financial reasons. Between 1938 and 1942 he concentrated on socio-documentary photography in the ghettos of West Palm Beach, Philadelphia, and Baltimore. One might think that being forced to earn his living in a photography studio would have stifled his artistic potential: Newman portrayed up to 70 clients a day. Yet he still succeeded in developing a very personal touch and establishing himself in the New York art scene of the early 1940s. His subjects included Max Ernst, Marcel Duchamp, Marc Chagall, Jackson Pollock, Willem de Kooning and Alexander Calder. With his unmistakable style, Newman became the star photographer of artists, writers and musicians.‎

‎Cinéma Suisse. - Documents et photos concernant le projet de film „Comment tuer le poète“ du scénariste René Allemann en 1975. Avec 2 photos n/b originales de l’acteur Michel Simon, décédé juste avant le tournage.‎

‎ 1975, 30.5x22.5 cm (photos), 2 photographies originales n/b, signées au dos Rosalba Vinasco, 9 photocopies d’extraits de journaux, 7 photocopies de lettres manuscrites d’acteurs et actrices, Mappe rouge avec indications manuscrites, bon état.‎

‎Cet ensemble contient 7 lettres d’acceptation signées pour participer au tournage du film, la plupart datées de début 1975 (toutes en photocopie). Il s’agit e.a. des acteurs Michel Simon, Marthe Keller et Michel Robin, ainsi que du réalisateur Yves Allégret, participant en tant que superviseur conseiller technique. Les photographies originales montrent Simon Michel à l’hôpital avec René Allemann. Le célèbre acteur, prévu pour le rôle principal du film, est en effet décédé en mai 1975 avant le tournage. Une lettre d’un autre acteur pour le même rôle datée de mai 75 est également comprise dans le lot. Les extraits de journaux concernent des articles sur Simon et son projet de film avec Allemann ainsi que des articles sur la mort et les enterrements de David Niven (+1983) et de Peter Sellers (+1980).
