‎Ouvrage important, édité deux fois dans l'année 1950. Lewis CARROLL, auteur de livres fantastiques et pour enfants. Il choisit son pseudonyme en traduisant ses prénoms (Charles Louis) traduits en latin (Carolus Ludovic), et ensuite anglicisés. Il se lance dans la photo dès 1856, et les filles Liddell seront parmi ses premiers modèles. Le caractère scandaleux de certaines photographies(dont des nus enfantins) interrompt sa carrière. Parmi d'autres travaux, on rapproche ses prises de vue du mouvement préraphaélite, pour leur onirisme. Usures à la jacquette. ‎
