‎Années 20/30 (1923-1926-1931- 1932). 1 gros album format in-4 (20*28 cm), reliure demi-chagrin à coins fortement épidermée, contenant environ 540 petites photos de divers voyages en Asie, avec traditionnelles escales à Port-Said, Aden, Colombo, Penang, Saïgon, Angkor, Hong Kong, différentes villes chinoises. Quelques pages sans photos et quelques photos prises en Europe.‎

‎Il s'agit ici d'un album familial, intimiste, présentant un personnage, résidant sans doute en Indochine, à travers divers voyages et séjours en Extrême-Orient. La plupart des photos présentent des voyageurs à bord de différents paquebots ou bien lors d'excursions automobiles ou encore dans les hôtels ou résidences locales. Quelques photos de paysages et de monuments, sans prétention artistique ni culturelle. L'album est intéressant comme témoignage des conditions de voyage et d'hébergement en Extrême-Asie dans les années 20/30.‎

‎No date, no place, Hong Kong, 1975. 1 volume, cloth hardback, original blue covers kept with gilt titles on the spine, 43 pages witten on one side only, a very good copy, ‎

‎A very rare copy of a scarce title. The Diary was compiled by Colonel Eutace Levett in the POW Camp, Argyle Street, Kowloon, Hong Kong, during the period 25 December 1941 to August 1945. It was made in the camp from smuggled material, the cover was cut from a KD shirt. The Diary is comprehensive listing the names of officers who died in the Fall of Hong kong between 8-25 December 1941, those confined as POW from the three services, Hong Kong volunteers and various auxiliary organisations. A complete nominal roll of the Hong Kong Signal Company and associated Signals from Canada and the Hong kong Telephone Company is shown. THe Diary was given to Lt Col Mee Truscott Royal Signals by his window, Mrs Mona Levett, after Colonel Levett died at Easbourne on October 1972. The document now forms part of Royal Signals History in Hong Kong and is entrusted by Lt Col Truscott to the care of all Ranks Royal and Gurkha Signals Hong Kong on the 9th November, 1975.‎

‎Zhang Leping est un fameux dessnateur satirique chinois des années 30 et 40 qui publia ses dessins dans différentes revues de Shanghai. Les plus célèbres de ses dessins figurent dans les aventures de Sanmao (Trois cheveux). Il s'agit ici d'une réédition moderne de ses dessins sans parole.‎

‎Crest, Drôme, Presses de Véziant frères, 1953. 1 volume in-8, broché, 99 pp., bon état malgré un petit accroc au dos. Belle dédicace du père de l'auteur et notice biohraphique dactylographiée sur F.J. Armorin émanant de la Mairie de Crest (juin 1954). Préface de Joseph Kessel.‎

‎L'auteur de ces reportages connut un destin tragique. Il mourut en effet dans la catastrophe aérienne d'un avion d'Air France à Bahrein en juin 1950. "Il a été porté disparu le 12 juin 1950 dans l'accident d'Air France à Bahrein, en rentrant de mission dans le Sud-Est asiatique. Menacé de mort par des trafiquants à Saigon au cours de son voyage, sa disparition reste mystérieuse, son corps n'ayant jamais été retrouvé." Son cahier de journaliste, retrouvé à Bahrein, contenait la matière de ses derniers articles sur Hong Kong, Macao, la Chine, le Vietnam, la Malaisie et Singapour.‎
