‎Reprinted from the Peking & Tientsin Times, March 1920. 1 small volume 12mo, 143 pp., hardcover, green cloth covered boards, red lettering on cover, a good copy of this uncommon book. Label of Librairie Française in Pékin on lower edge of REP.‎

‎Those 10 letters have been originally written in chinese by a young chinese magistrate and have been translated in english and published at brief intervals in the Peking Gazette. Those letters focus on the young magistrate's experiences in his new post not far away from Peking.‎
