First edition. A very interestiong collection of 17 articles on dentistry and dental hygieneby this somewhat contradictious author. "Les crits de L. Laforgue, reu au Collge royale de Chirurgie et dentiste de pauvres du dpartement de la Seine, contiennent des observations judicieuses et des prceptes avous par la saine pratique..."(Jourdan, V, 347). Including an article about tooth transplantation and the poors who sold their healthy teeth to the rich for this purpose. Pp. 165-204 is devoted to the description of the dental instrumentarium.--(Stain in the inner lower side of the first 20 pages; some scattered foxing, but a very agreable copy).
