Longue et intéressante lettre en allemand dans laquelle il oppose l'agitation parisienne au calme de Brême, il annonce la fin de sa traduction des oeuvres de Charles-Louis Philippe, propose à Giraudoux de traduire son Ecole des indifférents, se remémore ses visites chez Giraudoux et annonce revenir à Paris, et prend des nouvelles du roman en cours d'écriture.
