"Tüchtiger Arzt, huldigte aber einer starken Polypharmacie" (Hirsch). Verzascha war der Herausgeber der Basler Ausgaben von Pietro Andrea Mattiolis Kräuterbuch. - Ein wesentlicher Teil des Werkes handelt von der Pest. - Leicht gebräunt. - Selten.‎
