Bound in modern brown cloth, gilt title on spine, binding slightly worn and soiled, first and last pages with some light foxing. Pasted on the inside of the front cover is the printed ex-libris of Henry and Mary Ponsonby (Queen Victoria's private secretary). Well written and detailed account of the penultimate allied campaign against Napoleon by an important eyewitness. Original edition containing a fine handcoloured folding map and with an interesting provenance.‎
