La baron Tupinier (1779-1850), entra à l’âge de quinze ans à l’Ecole Polytechnique où il appartint à la première promotion (1794). Il fut ministre de la Marine entre 1830 et 1839 et occupa divers postes importants comme ceux de membre du Conseil d’amirauté, ou de directeur des ports. Polak, 9279.
