Presentation copy of the uncommon first edition edition of Bishop Tetens’ eulogy in honor of Ansgar written for the Millennium Celebration of Christianity’s introduction in 1826. Stephan Tetens (1773 - 1855) was a Danish bishop. In 1804, he became parish priest at Trinitatis Church in Fredericia, and in 1811 at Saint Canute's Church in Odense, as well as cathedral provost for the Diocese of Funen, in which role he, famously confirmed H.C. Andersen.
