‎Friedrich Stierlin), Sohn des Münsterpfarrers Rudolf Emanuel Stierlin, war Pfarrer in Wil 1848-1877 und auch als Kunstmaler tätig. Zuschreibung durch den anonymen Vorbesitzer. Mit handschriftlichem Schenkvermerk des Berner Antiquasr und Kunsthändlers Jürg Stuker "Von einem Analphabeten an einen Alphabeten". Die Blätter in leuchtenden Farben. Ein schönes Beispiel des Berner Historismus.‎
