Interesting copy previously owned by Dr. C.A. Backer with many annotations in his hand and several newspaper clipping of obituaries of Dutch biologists. Inserted is also a typed and signed letter by Dr. C.G.G.J. van Steenis to Backer dated 1951 deploring the fact that the Herbarium Bogoriense is not functioning as should.
