All edges gilt. With a working gilt clasp. White silky paper endleaves. Faultless state of preservation.Allthough these kind of Roman Catholic devotional books were quite common in the second half of the 19th c. it is quite unique to come across such a nicely preserved copy in a very rare papier maché binding..
