"2. Berlin, Speyer & Peters, November 1922, in-8°, pp. 163-222, describes items 1037-1501. Sewn, original printed wrapper. Specimen of a antiquarian book trade catalogue published in the middle of the German super inflation. On the verso of the front cover are printed the sale conditions. For German customers the listed prices are raised by 300 %.; foreign clients pay a surcharge of 450%. By hand these surcharges are corrected. Inland is now 400 %, and foreign 600 %. So between the time of publishing the catalogue, printing and shipping prices rose by 600% for foreign clients."
