Complet de la belle jaquette photographique avec infimes frottis aux coins. Textes en Anglais. Préfaces de John Hayes et Terence Pepper. Présentation du photographe par son épouse Wenda Parkinson. Portrait photos de Norman Parkinson en frontispice par Frances McLaughlin. Chronologie en début d'ouvrage. Livre édité lors d'une exposition consacré à Norman Parkinson qui fut un remarquable photographe de mode et portraitiste, pourtant peu connu, malgré une longue carrière qui débuta dans les années 1930 et dura plus de cinq décennies. Il est surtout connu pour ses collaborations avec les versions britannique et américaine du magazine " Vogue " et ses prises de vues presque exclusivement en extérieur. Textes en anglais accompagnés de très nombreuses photos en noir et en couleur tirées sur couché. A noter que l'exemplaire présente une odeur de " cave " et que quelques infimes piqures d'humidité sont visibles sur quelques pages. Bibliographie et liste des sujets photographiés en fin de livre. Edition originale en très bel état général. Rare et précieux exemplaire enrichie d'une belle dédicace, datée et signée, pleine page de Norman Parkinson. Ces dernières sont rares.‎
