La prima elementi di zoologia di Schmeil e Raffaele, la gran parte sugli invertebrati ma con una parte finale relativa agli animali utili all'uomo (mammiferi, uccelli, rettili e anfibi, pesci, antropodi). Numerose illustrazioni in bianco e nero nel testo e sette planches colorate fuori testo (dalla XII alla XVIII). Sono state inoltre incollate 10 planches colorate provenienti da un altra opera: molluschi e invertebrati marini, numerose razze di cani di H. SPerling, razze di conigli, piccioni, uccelli selvatici. La seconda opera del 1911 è la guida ufficiale del Giardino Zoologico di Roma compilata dal Dott. Knottnerus Meyer. Descrizione dello zoo e di tutti gli animali. Numerose foto in bianco e nero. Note manoscritte. In buone condizioni. Copertina in mezza tela con titolo al dorso in discrete condizioni con lievi usure marginali. Legatura in buone condizioni ma con qualche lieve rottura.
