Les Âges du monde est le chef-d'uvre inachevé de Schelling. Il tente d'y écrire une véritable « histoire de Dieu » et du surgissement de l'Être à partir du chaos primordial, mêlant métaphysique, théologie et audaces poétiques. Bel exemplaire.

Première édition française complète de ce monument de la pensée tardive de Schelling. Rupture radicale avec le rationalisme abstrait, cette uvre majeure aborde le phénomène mythologique comme une théogonie en acte, où l'esprit humain traverse l'expérience des forces divines avant l'avènement de la Révélation. La traduction d'Alain Pernet constitue un jalon fondamental pour les études idéalistes en France. Très bon état. Peu courant
