‎Hirsch 2, 543 - Geuns (1767-1795), geboren in Groning, Sohn des berühmten holländischen Professors Matthias van Geun, studierte in Harderwyk, promovierte 1789 zum Doktor Phil. In Göttingen wurde er ein enger Freund von Alexander von Humboldt und hörte Blumenbach, Gmelin und Murray. 1790 schloss er mit der vorliegenden Arbeit seine Studienzeit ab, wurde Arzt in Amsterdam und schon 1791 Professor in Utrecht. - Titel gestempelt. Schwacher Wasserrand im Steg. Umschlag angestaubt.‎
