‎Né à Mâcon, Pierre Reboul entra dans les ordres, fut curé à Lancié et Vergisson puis à Saint-André-d'Huiriat près de Pont-de-Veyle ; au début de la Révolution, il fut même un temps maire de sa commune. Curé réfractaire, il fut arrêté à plusieurs reprises, échappa de peu à la mort et organisa des missions à Pont-de-Vaux, St-Nizier-le-Bouchoux, Matrignat, etc.Bon exemplaire, la couverture est un peu défraichie, l'envoi manuscrit de l'auteur a été partiellement déchiré. ‎
