‎New York Barricade Books Inc. 1989 Réimpression (première édition Barricade). Couverture souple noire avec titres en blanc et rouge. Légères traces d'usure et plis sur les bords, ainsi que quelques petites entailles fermées sur les bords de la couverture. Une tache de café révolutionnaire sur la quatrième de couverture. L'intérieur est propre et soigné, mais les deux premières pages sont légèrement froissées. 160 pages. Powell n'avait que 19 ans lorsqu'il a écrit cet ouvrage en signe de protestation contre la guerre du Vietnam et la conscription militaire américaine, dans l'intention d'en faire une provocation contre-culturelle. Ironiquement, il est devenu par la suite un chrétien conservateur et a tenté, jusqu'à sa mort en 2016, de faire interdire l'ouvrage, mais n'y est pas parvenu car il en avait vendu les droits d'auteur. Un ouvrage controversé, cité en lien avec de nombreux incidents violents, notamment l'attentat d'Oklahoma City et la fusillade de Columbine. 27 cm x 21 cm.‎

‎Reprint (first Barricade edition). Black softback with titles in white and red. A little edge wear and creasing with a few small closed nicks to the cover edges. A revolutionary coffee cup stain to the rear cover. Inside clean and tidy, but the first couple of pages are slightly wrinkled. 160 pages. Powell was just 19 years old when he wrote this work in protest against the Vietnam War and US military conscription, intending it as a countercultural provocation. Ironically, he later became a Conservative Christian and tried, until his death in 2016, to have the work suppressed, but was unable to do so as he had sold the copyright. A controversial work, cited in connection with numerous violent incidents including the Oklahoma City bombing and Columbine school shooting. 27cm x 21cm. .‎
