Pages numbered (1)38-->51.( as issued). No plate number , but at the foot of each plate '' Pleyel Son's ded. queen''.Price 12s. (most probabluy for the set of six ?) Disbound, removed from a binding , inner margin with some damage, some pencil annotations. Only the score for the piano forte, with an added stave for the ''Flauto''.
Sinfonie Concertante pour le Forté-Piano et Violon obligé, deux Violons, Alto, Basse, deux Oboes, deux Bassons, et deux Cors par J. Pleyel. Prix 9tt. N.B. On peut éxécuter cette Sinfonie sans orchestre. Gravé par Richomme.

( 1797), in-folio, 32,5 x 26 cm, title + 25 pp of engraved music . No Plate number . Removed from a convolute, no binding. Title a bit dustsoiled and with small marginal loss of paper, corners worn and thumbed, some repaired with small bits of tipped on paper. Pleyel's sinfonie 114 (Cap. title IIIe sinf.) ( See Rita Benton , Pleyel's Thematic Catalogue item 1305 , title page reproduced on pp. 22 ; without a plate number)."

( 1793 - 1794), in-folio, 31,5 x 24,5 cm, two parts , Libro I and Libro II bound together per part; violino primo , title with architectural frame (Libro I) + 15 pp of engraved music + title with arch. frame (Libro II) + 17 pp with engraved music (numbered 16-31), (19, 27 are blank) ; violino secondo , title with architectural frame (Libro I) + 15 pp of engraved music + title with arch. frame (Libro II) + 12 pp with engraved music (numbered 16-27) . Plate number 797. Each (double) part sewn and without a wrapper ( removed from a convolute). Nice copies. Pleyel's violin duos 437-439. ( See Rita Benton , Pleyel's Thematic Catalogue item 4505 and 4506. Note that Rita Benton could not locate a copy of Item 4506 when she compiled her Catalogue in 1977)."
Collection of six quintets ( opus 13 , 17 , 20 , 23 , 36 and 12 ). 18th c. imprints, bound in 5 volumes (bound per instrument, all in sequence). Also bound in , 2 x 3 quintets by I. Pleyel.
"18. Collection of five volumes , bound in sequence per instrument ; ''Violino Primo , Violino Secondo , Violoncello Primo, Violoncello Secondo, Viola. ''. Containing a total of 33 quitets by Boccherini and 6 by Pleyel. The volumes have a page numbering in ink in a contemporary hand. ( each vol. ca. 140 pp). Title and score all copper engraved. In-folio format , 33 x 25 cm. Bound in uniform contemporary full vellum, with large leather title label on front cover. The name of the ( first ?) owner has been erased from the cover. Bindings a bit worn and dustsoiled. Outer margins of some volumes damaged with small loss of material. Inside with the usual thumbing and dustsoiling. The upper outer margin of some volumes with some marginal water damage ( never reaching the engraved score). The violino primo part contains also the catalogue ( 6 of 8 ) either from Veniers or Boyer ( essentially the same as Veniers ) . With all the title pages ( except for Opera XVII of the viola part). Items [2] , [3] , and [7] are most probably first editions. Items [1] , [4] , printed by Boyer-Le Muet are most probably second imprints from the first editions. It is known that in 1784 Mad. Le Muet acquired Veniers' plates ( Krummel & Sadie - Music Printing and Publishing pp. 319). The collection must have been bound around 1787. Unfortunately we were unable to decipher the erased name of the first owner."
