‎Alfred Pellan (1906-1988), peintre avant-gardiste, illustrateur, costumier et professeur. Premier peintre québécois à s'illustrer sur la scène française. Premier prix à l'exposition d'Art mural de Paris en 1935. Engagé dans l'art indépendant, il forme un regroupement en 1948 et publie le manifeste Prisme d'Yeux. ‎
