‎Scarce early edition of Palladius's work on agriculture from the 4th century A.D. He was a knowledgeable agriculturist with estates in Italy and Sardinia, experienced in climatic conditions and soil-variations, he wrote this practical manual once thought to contain fourteen books only, an introductory book followed by one for each month of the year and an apendix 'de insitione', but an extra book to the work was found by Svennung, which he published in 1926. - Adams P 110.‎
